Highpoint Access & Rescue is a Family owned and operated Company that specialises in Industrial Safety Solutions for access to and rescue from heights and confined spaces. We are located at 54 Glenmore Road Rockhampton and currently service industry within Australia, New Zealand and PNG.
Company Director Rob Stringer is a qualified Electrical Fitter/Mechanic and has worked in domestic, commercial and industrial environments throughout all of his working life. With over 20 years of experience in the maintenance and operations sections of the electrical industry, Rob has developed an in-depth knowledge of power generation and transmission processes. With this, combined with his skills, knowledge and experience as a Rope Access and Rescue Technician, Highpoint is able to provide a professional service to a wide range of industries. Rob holds current certification as a Level 3 Rope Access Technician and is a certified Assessor for the Australian Rope Access Association (ARAA).
Some of the other qualifications Rob has that help contribute to Highpoint's capability are; Graduate Diploma in Maintenance Management, Cert IV Workplace Trainer and Assessor, and Cert IV Emergency Medical Technician. Rob is qualified to perform and to deliver training in Confined Space Entry and Rescue, Vertical Rescue, Tower Access and Rescue.
Liz Stringer, Manager of Highpoint Access & Rescue, has been working within General Business Management, ERT Coordination (holds current certification in Cert IV Emergency Medical Technician) and Health and Safety Advisory roles throughout her working life. Through completion of her Certificate IV in Assessment and Workplace Training, Liz is able to conduct various courses offered by Highpoint Access and Rescue. With work from small business's to large corporations, she has advanced her skills and knowledge within these fields to successfully manage Highpoint Access & Rescue.
Highpoint Access & Rescue employ permanent staff to run the operation and provide a base service to our clients. With this permanent staff, combined with our casual employees and sub contractors, Highpoint is able to provide a very efficient and professional service. Highpoint has a proven track record for providing prompt service to meet our client's needs. A number of our Clients require a 24-hour response time to emergency breakdown work. Highpoint has consistently met (and frequently exceeded) this requirement.
Highpoint predominantly employ personnel who have been trained to, and assessed against the Australian Rope Access Association (ARAA) core competencies.
